A cold day for our Winter Fest, which seemed appropriate and the event was picture perfect though a tad chilly - - a huge thanks to Eric of ALAN ENERGY - Spring Road was prepared with a great celebration, from horse-drawn wagons rides to a visit with Santa along with characters from film and TV - also a shout out to Kevin at @phasethreebrew.elm for adding the Kringle Market this year - we are most glad to foster another Elmhurst community day! The Spring Road Business Association, in partnership with Warm Coats for Cool Kids, is sponsoring a Coat Drive as part of our “We Care” program. Donate a NEW winter coat for a child in need, sizes 2T to XXL. Coats can be dropped off at a participating Spring Road business, like Lezza’s Bakery and Alan Energy Services. Just look for the Coat Drive Box with a poster with the RED coat. The coat drive will conclude at our Winter Fest event. Coats can also be dropped off at our Winter Fest event on Saturday, December 14th, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Warm Coats for Cool Kids will distribute the coats to students in District 205 and other nearby suburban districts.
