Elmtoberfest is coming to Phase Three! On Saturday, October 3, Spring Road gets a proper Oktoberfest of its own. Join us from 12–9pm for German beer, German food, live music and family-friendly activities. Hosted by the Spring Road Business Association, Phase Three Brewing Company, and Bottle Theory, Elmtoberfest will benefit the Elmhurst York Food Pantry. There will be plenty happening throughout the day, including a stein-holding competition, family-friendly activities, and live music leading into the evening. From 6–7:30pm, our Elmtoberfest headliner, Keith Stras & Chicago’s Polka Confetti will be playing live from 6–7:30pm @phasethreebrew.elm

Right after the horrific events of September 11, 2001, members of our Association, led by Doug Kuester of Great American Exteriors, organized an effort among Spring Road and local Elmhurst businesses, area groups, and community members to request permission for land use from the Elmhurst Park District and approval from the @cityofelmhurst. The group collected the needed funds and then built a memorial to honor the day. Engraved bricks and benches fill the area from those who pitched in.
